More than a Game, the documentary that follows LeBron James and his teammates in high school hits theaters October 2nd. One hoop dream that actually has a happy ending….. no not that kind.

It’s looking more and more likely that Kobe and Lebron are going to go head to head in the NBA Championship this year. That match-up will be great for the game and for all the Air Apparent arguments. But, it seems that the hardwood isn’t the only place that the two stars will clash this year. There also going head to head in the documentary game.
Alec “I will have plenty of time for blogging next week now that Ben Gordon is toast” Banks wrote last week about the upcoming theatrical documentary MORE THAN A GAME, chronicling the struggles and successes of Lebron James and his high school basketball team. It’s an amazing trailer and I’m pumped for the October release.

Kristopher Belman had the good sense to pick up a camera and point it at Lebron James when he was still “Lebron” and not yet “King James.” The result, a really great documentary that is more Hoop Dreams than Sportscenter highlight.
