Aside from Hunter Thompson, Chuck Palahniuk would definitely classify as my favorite writer. Those not familiar with his work, he’s the master (mind) (pervert) (sick0) (genius) behind books like Fight Club, Choke, Invisible Monsters, Lullaby, and Snuff. So I was definitely interested to learn that a high school teacher was suspended for giving his 11th grade class a copy of one of his short stories. CHECK IT OUT (you’ll never look at swimming pools the same).

Wasn’t this story included as part of another novel? One about a bunch of people being kept hostage, and at some point they literally eat the tattooed backside of one of the women? Or do I have my stories mixed up?
Yeah it was part of his novel, Haunted. They’re all writers and they tell their stories throughout the story.
i read it in the 10th grade, no big deal. i love chuck too and censorship should be censored.
