It’s been 3 years since the English rapper came out with her debut album, Public Warning, featuring her hit single “Love Me or Hate Me.” Her first single off her new album “So Human” is already causing controversy in the underground music scene due to its gratuitous use of “Close To Me” by The Cure.

After being dropped by Island and Def Jam Records in 2008, Lady Sovereign releasd her own indepedent label called Midget Records, a division of EMI Records.
