Taking Back Sunday

Taking Back Sunday will always be one of thee bands I will never stop listening to because I grew up listening every song. If you’re a Gen-Y kid, then you know which bands I’m talking about: Blink 182, New Found Glory, Green Day, Taking Back Sunday, etc. Now with Matthew Fazzi replacing Fred Mascherino on lead guitar, Taking Back Sunday is becoming ‘New Again’.
Taking Back Sunday - New Again

Their fourth studio album, titled New Again, is set to be released on June 2nd, 2009. But if you can’t wait that long, then sit tight until April 20th because they’re going to be releasing their new single titled Sing Into Me. For a little teaser-taste, go to their Myspace to hear 35 seconds of it.

My favorite Taking Back Sunday album to this day is “Where I Want To Be” from start to finish. Their first album, Tell All Your Friends, was good but like most bands, first albums are usually a foot-in-the-door. With their second album, Where I Want To Be, it was more than just a foot-in-the-door, it was like Lou Ferrigno bustin’ down the double-doors with a mean growl and a Snickers in his left hand cause he had a fist full of anger in his right hand.
